Mark Lyman and Anne Meszko
Mark Lyman and Anne Meszko founded SOFA CHICAGO, the annual Sculpture Objects & Functional Art Fair in 1993. Their mission was to bridge the worlds of contemporary design, decorative and fine art. In 1997, Art & Auction wrote, “It was Lyman who effectively introduced contemporary decorative arts to the broad public.” Lyman was listed as one of ART & AUCTIONS 100 in the same year, and in 2000, Lyman received the prestigious Visionaries! Award from the Museum of Arts and Design, New York. Meszko currently serves as an Advisor to Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts and is a Board member of the Krasl Art Center. Mark Lyman and Anne Meszko live in southwest Michigan, have two adult children and recently became a grandparents.
