Home & Design Editor, Chicago Home & Garden Magazine Diana Bitting is an interior architect by profession (MFA Interior Architecture Columbia College 2010), but felt the call to return to publishing in November 2011, having earned a bachelors degree from the Ernie Pyle School of Journalism at IU-Bloomington. After more than three years with Modern Luxury’s Interiors Chicagomagazine, she joined the Chicago Tribune’s esteemed publication, Chicago Magazine. With a background in the fine arts as well, she relishes the telling of stories focused on local artists, designers and creatives of all kinds. A stint in Paris post-undergrad, as well as a graduate exchange program in Shanghai, deepened her appreciation for international cultures, exquisite interior settings and interesting architecture. Luckily, as a resident of Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood, she has the luxury of exposing herself to all three any day of the week.
