Opening Night, Wednesday, June 10 will give guests the opportunity to be the first to view and purchase top-quality, three-dimensional artworks presented for sale by an elite line-up of 35 national and international dealers. The evening benefits The New Mexico Museum of Art Design Collection.
NMMoA Private Preview and Reception begins at 5:30 p.m. For ticket levels and benefits, visit the Opening Night Preview page. VIP Guest Preview begins at 7 p.m. for SOFA WEST VIP Card holders only. Opening Night closes at 9 pm.

Santa Fe is located in Northern New Mexico, an hour's drive north of Albuquerque, the state's largest city and major air gateway. The Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ) as the airport is officially known, is serviced by all of the major U.S. airlines. Train service provides access to New Mexico on a daily basis as does the bus. The Santa Fe Municipal Airport (SAF) is open to private aircraft. Starting June 11, 2009 American Eagle offers a nonstop daily flight arriving at the Santa Fe Municipal Airport at 11:45 a.m. from Dallas and returning there with a 12:10 p.m. departure from Santa Fe.

Alternate transportation methods:
Shuttle service is available from the Albuquerque airport, the Santa Fe airport and the train station which is located in Lamy, New Mexico, about 20 miles from Santa Fe. Once in town, getting around is easy. Downtown Santa Fe and the surrounding historic districts are compact and most conveniently traveled on foot.
Public Transportation
The main transportation hub for the downtown area is ½ block from the convention center on Sheridan Street. The Santa Fe Trails Bus system can bring visitors in from Cerrillos Road hotels and run on a regular schedule. Fare is $1 each way. For those wishing to visit Museum Hill, the M Bus takes people from the transportation hub on Sheridan to the Hill. Taxis and pedicabs are also available.

Paid parking is available in the parking garage underneath the Santa Fe Convention Center. Parking is $1.80 per hour or $9 per day. The underground parking garage has 512 spaces and the entrance is on Federal Street. Federal Street is one way and will need to be accessed from either Lincoln or Washington Streets. |
