100 GALLERY PRESENTATIONS AT SOFA CHICAGO 2007

Augmenting its 100 gallery presentations from 18 countries, SOFA CHICAGO 2007 features seven special exhibits and a full schedule of special events, in-booth talks and booksignings, all complimentary with admission to SOFA, Nov. 2 - 4 at Navy Pier’s Festival Hall. 

This year the fair boasts seven special exhibits:

Offering Reconciliation
Artworks by 135 prominent Palestinian and Israeli artists in support of the Parents Circle’s educational work and message of reconciliation. Presented by the Parents Circle-Families Forum and Association of Israel’s Decorative Arts (AIDA). 15 artworks in the exhibit will be auctioned live at SOFA. Read more on The Power of Art auction >
 
Contemporary Furniture at Crab Tree Farm
Contemporary furniture made at Crab Tree Farm, a working farm with crops and livestock, located on the shore of Lake Michigan in Lake Bluff, Illinois. Featured will be the work of renowned UK designer John Makepeace, and Mike Jarvi and Critz Campbell, both of whom studied under him.  Presented by Crab Tree Farm. Read more >

A curated exhibit of contemporary decorative artwork by artists currently living in Israel. Presented by the Association of Israel’s Decorative Arts (AIDA). www.aidaarts.org
