Mark Lyman, Founder/Director of SOFA and President, The Art Fair Company, says, “While the three-dimensional masterworks on offer by SOFA dealers often reference traditional decorative art, many brook no boundaries, mixing sophisticated content with new forms, materials and processes.”
Lyman continues, “It interests me that some of the more striking departures originate in countries with the longest and most-revered decorative arts roots, for example, Asia and the United Kingdom. We’re very pleased that this year’s fair offers an increased presence of dealers from these seminal regions.”
