Helena Hernmarck’s tapestry designs are derived from the local environment, often encapsulating the great outdoors on a monumental scale. Her commissions include two tapestries for the 1967 World's Fair in Montreal; three for the Cunard Lines's QE2; Skidmore, Owings & Merrill's Weyerhaeuser headquarters in Tacoma, Washington; and four seasonally rotating tapestries in the lobby of the Time Warner Center apartments in New York. Hernmarck is represented by browngrotta arts. |

Paxon is the UK's Jerwood Applied Arts: Jewellery prize-winner of 2007; Herbert Hoffman Prize Winner 2002; and is in the collections of the Middlesbrough Institute for Modern Art, London; National Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh; International Museum of Applied Arts, Turin, Italy; and the Montreal Museum of Decorative Arts.
