A BENEFIT FOR THE MUSEUM OF ARTS & DESIGN
THURSDAY, MAY 31, 5:30 - 9:30
PARK AVENUE ARMORY

New York's Museum of Arts & Design (MAD), the beneficiary of SOFA NEW YORK's Opening Night since 1998, plans a special soirée d'anniversare to celebrate 10 years of close partnership, and the Museum's 50th Anniversary. SOFA is pleased to announce that the Opening Night Preview will be Thursday evening, May 31 - note the change from the Wednesday evening openings of past years.

SOFA NEW YORK 2006

Join prominent collectors, museum curators and over 100 artists represented by SOFA galleries and dealers in enjoying first choice of the artworks debuting at the exposition. Savor an eclectic assortment of world cuisines reflecting the cultural diversity of the City in the soiree's food theme, A Taste of New York. The tasty romp includes Taste of India, Chinese Dim Sum bar and the all-American Paul Newman's Steak Pit.

New this year is a private dinner in the Armory's Tiffany Room for Benefactor ($5,000 for two) and Patron ($1,000 each) ticket level guests. Enjoy a delicious and intimate fête with prominent artists, Museum supporters and curators. The VIP dinner guests will enjoy an early 5:30 pm entrance to the fair and then, starting promptly at 8:30 pm, move across the hall for the Celebration dinner in the Tiffany Room.
