Terra cotta surface refers to terra cotta sculpture as genre (fine art). – Size and narrative content refers to figurines, especially those with an erotic slant (homoeroticism). – Configuration inspired by early version of Constantin Brancusi’s (1876-1957) sculpture The Kiss (1907-1910), now in Montparnasse cemetery in Paris.
